BUYING OF TRAVELER’S CHECKS

The traveler’s check is a secure means of payment for cashless payments in international travel. For the purchase of travelers’ checks from us, a legitimate document (identity card, passport) must usually be presented and a signature must be made on the check. It should be noted that the signature must not differ from that on the identification document. The purchaser receives a sales receipt with all purchased travelers’ checks and listed with serial numbers, which must be kept separately and securely from the checks themselves. When using the traveler’s check abroad, a second signature must be made, which serves to legitimize the redeemer and to check the authorization.
